Yep, could kick myself for not being more thoughtful about their journey.

I think bigger and heavier lead would have ended up with some significant problems.

Glad the re-touching is working so well. When we last moved I put all of my gaming stuff in the car. I wouldn't be able to do that now!

First Imagi-Nations force all based and primed. Now the small case of painting them all.....

Good news: Last batch of Picts spears base coated and inked, along with my first Epic Eldar unit.
Bad news: Looking out some spaceships for a mate, I've dropped at least three armies!  :'(

Dropping one army could be thought of as careless. Dropping three  :o :o

All my FPW have magnetic bases and the boxes have a sheet of tin.  I can carry them upside down and they stay secured. Lot of tin and magnetic sheets however.  I get the magnetic sheets from Tap Plastics here in California.  Not sure where else they are, but it comes in 30" width and I usually get 3" at a time.  $10 to $15.

I use magnetic vinyl from sign writing suppliers, 62cm wide roll. I usually get a couple of metres at a time. I haven't been brave enough to turn upside down yet.

One bonus is that it gives the bases an extra couple of millimetres depth without the base edge being that deep. I cut the vinyl 5-10mm smaller than the base e.g. a 40x20 base gets a 30x15 piece of magnetic vinyl

Grand total of my painting effort since this thread launched?

3x 28mm Figures for the Levingrad All Tzars Undead Bloodbowl Teaml

Combination of tiredness after work (averaging 14 hours a shift at the moment) and the usual post new year go slow after a fortnights indulgence. I'm also working most weekends this month so no nights at the club to inspire me to finish figures for a game.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Sat down to the aftermath of the army drop.
Five boxes of figures sorted and repaired🤘
A few loa hats to repaint, a few figures needing to be glued back into bases, many lances and spears straightened, could have been a lot worse. One Tudor artillery piece is missing, will look again in daylight.
