Base coat paint applied to some scenery and grit added to mf mdf cavalry bases. Taking a break before moving onto basing the Grenadiers.

Big batch of mdf figures primed this morning and now waiting for them to gas off before bringing indoors.

In 10mm two Jewish heavies(!) and two units of skirmishers finished (apart from basing). Only 31 bases worth. Quiet day really.

An mdf building started today. Hard to do much else with the build up to Xmas.

Spent some time yesterday in a completely unsuccessful attempt to scratchbuild a couple of lamassu (Assyrian androsphynxes). I hoped I could construct them with a decoupage treatment using damp printed outlines over plaster, but I was a snake trying to tapdance. Sigh.
