C-in-C base colours and wash applied. Highlights, lacquering and flock to follow later on.

C-in-C base now finished, which means I can field a fully painted Brigade for some 18thC action :). Pics to follow over the weekend hopefully. There are still some other units to paint to flesh things out, but I'm a happy bunny at present. Given many will be making their debut next week, they're sure to die quickly, handing Dave victory in our Brexite campaign :(.

Chicken and Geese bases finished, to add some detail and colour to my games. Started on upgrading my BUAs, again to add colour and detail.

Small longhouse which arrived yesterday has been painted and added to Viking camp. Watch-tower has NOT, since they failed to send me the one I'd ordered, and the one I've got looks like a perimeter item at a WWII POW camp. I hope they'll be answering my email on the subject pretty soon....

And credit be given where due, the replacement is making its brave way through the Christmas post.

A quick pic of army that will be fielded in our final brexite campaign on Tuesday. I've some more units to add, but it feels nice to be able to play with a force that I have painted myself and not had to borrow from Dave :D. More detailed pics to follow.

Just moustaches on the crew, and horse flashes to do on artillery horses. 15mm almost done too before tidying up.
Good thing I remembered the steel band down the back of the helmet...

Will saves the day from the Suzi Quatro earworm, by reminding me of a bit of an Emerson, Lake & Palmer.  :)

Just had the dispatch of Trafalgar fleets confirmed. Anyone want to send me copies of interesting rulesets to build into the ones I'm writing?

EH ?

Couple of days ago I broke my last but one of my carborundum discs......Ooops...Better order some more.

First port of call....Scale Model Shop....(Damn...they're out of stock)

Oh well....It'll have to be Amazon then.

Ordered three packs of 10....and a CD to take the order over £20, so I can have free postage.
They split the order into two packages....One with two packs of the discs, (which have already arrived)....the other with one pack of discs and the CD. (Still waiting for that one)

Why split the discs into two packages ?

Anyone ?
