are we going to see some Napoleonic Prussian 12pdr guns and Limbers anytime soon or in the very near future

Leon

No plans for them at the moment, but probably something we'd look to add at some point.  We've got the sculptor currently adding some Prussian Cuirassiers and a quick conversion for the Guard grenadiers.

Would the 1866 12pdr shell gun substitute ?
Don't buy your daughters a pony, buy them heroin instead, its cheaper and ultimately less addictive.

At least one battery was equipped with French 12pdr so you could go with that in the meantime.

any time scale plan for them

what Pendraken code is that and are there any pictures

@ NTM

I knew about the one battery that was equipped with French 12pdrs

maybe the French 12pdr is the easier option  :-\ and would there really be any noticeable differences in 10mm anyway,

anybody suggest any other guns in the Pendraken range that would suit

For the 12pdr's?  Not at the moment I'm afraid.  Once the cuirassiers and grenadiers are done we're sending the sculptor off to work on the 1860's Italian revamp, then he'll be doing some Indian Mutiny figures for us.

I've got a customer doing a massive Naps game next year who's using the French 12pdr instead, so that could be an option.

thats what I was thinking,

any chance of a "top down" picture of the French 12pdr for a better look

John Cook

The Prussian artillery 1813-1815 included indigenous designs, guns given them post 1812 by the Russians, captured French and, I think, Russian types, and guns given them by the British.  There was no single Prussian 'system' as such and the so-called Prussian Model 1816 based on the Gribeauval designed carriage was a post-Napoleonic War introduction.
In 10mm either a French or Russian type would do I'd say, with a rectangular ammunition-chest limber.  British tubes were not always complete with British block-trail carriages and were sometimes mounted on bracket-trail carriages.  I can't help with which battery had what, I'm afraid, and I expect it is a case of 'nobody knows'.
