I'll be the first to admit that I am a bit of a Pendraken fanboi. From the day I bought 2 FP army packs at Salute held in Kensington Town Hall when you could still get to the stands without something resembling a rugby scrum. They were, and still are, very nice sculpts. The new sculpts however, have raised the bar even higher. With the new ranges coming thick and fast, this bar seems to be pushed ever higher.

So to the point. Is there an old range that you would like to see given the upgrade. I know Leon has said there are no plans for some of these but who knows, if he finds a gap in his playboy lifestyle, stranger things have happened  :D

For me, I would like to see the ECW  and  Marlburian ranges given the steroids of a revamp

Has the ECW range not been redone recently? There are still a few new codes in the pipeline, I think. Other ranges would benefit more, like the TYW, or some additions to make a complete range for the Italian wars.

I had TYW in my head but my fingers went ECW lol.
Having said that I would like the ECW extended a bit though with a bit more variety in the infantry to take them into later war, but that is for another time

We've got a few more additions coming for the ECW and we might look at revamping the artillery crews at some point as well.  The Marlburians could do with some new art crews as well, plus some of the cavalry could do with some work.

Beyond that, we're revamping the 1860's Italians next and we'll be looking at the whole Crimean period at some point towards the end of 2017/early 2018.  There'll be some more Ancients ranges redone as well, with the Dacians next up for the treatment.

Beyond that, who knows?!  There's a few things we'd like to do, but a lot of it depends on what new stuff we need to work on plus what people are asking for through the Requests lists.

A slight derailment but related to ECW and Pendraken.

Just discovered 14 packs of Wild Geese Miniatures ECW (unopened and therefore unpainted in the many years I've had them!) in the back of a cupboard in my dining room. A note in with them suggests they were from Pendraken, is that possible?

It is indeed, although they've probably been in your cupboard for around 25 years...  :D

Before we launched Pendraken in 1992, Dave was going to the shows as Wild Geese Miniatures.  Once we started to develop our own ranges, we became Pendraken instead.

I remember being something to do with Bren Gun miniatures
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Wild Geese was a company producing a variety of stuff, rules, figures in other scales, etc.  Dave was working for them as a caster and attending the shows in their name.  After a while of doing that he offered to buy the 10mm range of figures, under the Wild Geese Miniatures name.  He wanted to start producing his own ranges though, so we switched to Pendraken Miniatures at that point and started to replace most of the Wild Geese ranges.  Some of them are still available somewhere, I think the Square had them for a while and then Bren Gun miniatures picked them up I believe?  Those were the 1:200th Vietnam ranges as far as I remember.  A lot of the pre-1900 ranges were just replaced and the moulds binned as they weren't great sculpts compared to the new stuff.
