Yes! For me it is pretty much the entire Irish Brigade of Montrose's army. I loath when they roll badly!

Glorfindel

Something like that..

Warmaster Knights in distinctive green - the first Regiment
I was really proud of.   Of course, that immediately made it
a target for everybody else and I've given up hoping they
ever live through a game...

I think this is how I spent a lot of my teenage years.  :-[

Not sure that I currently have a favourite unit.  :-\

However, I think I do look that way when contemplating a nicely set up table.

Is that what Americans call it a Woody?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Don't think of it as a stick, more as the barrel of a Centurion's gun...  :>

Units with eighteen foot pikes - or simply - "units"

Fenton  ;D - I think the newer term is "getting wood".

 ;D ;D ;D

I do like my Venetian pikemen, and they always get thoroughly twatted, and not in a good way!

I.m not sure about a favourite unit, but I have kept a birthday card for a number of years that had that very picture on the front - it never fails to make me smile.

A friend placed his new 20mm model Hetzer on the table declaring it to be his favourite piece, went together well, really pleased with paint job etc. etc. We predictably targeted for the next few games  :D Until Dave used it as bait for a well executed trap  >:( Serves us right  8)

I've never had a favourite unit, I've had favourite command stands and standard bearers but never a unit.

Cheers
