Can anyone advise me how to post a picture to the forum please? Every time I try I get an error message stating file is too big?
Thank you!

There is a useful step by step guide for Photobucket here, http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,11495.0.html

I believe most of the photo hosting sites are similar

Note photo bucket appears to have changed its posting procedure. Originally when clicking on Direct a yellow flashing 'Copied' appeared to show it had gone to the Pendraken site. Instead now, when you click on direct, it highlights in blue. You then have to hold the mouse over it and a drop down menu appears and you select copy. Don't know why they have made the procedure more complex, but they have.

If you are attaching photos rather than linking them they need to be 128Kb or less.

You can use graphics packages to reduce the size if the original is too big. I use "The GIMP" because it's free and has all the bells and whistles I need but there are plenty of others out there. Load the picture, export it, choose preview and use the slider to adjust the file size of the image. Simples :)

However, linking lets you show off the image in all it's glory, saves space on the computer hosting the forum and lets you add more than two images per post.
