What to use as an anniversary

Yes she has, but I can't remember when the first time for that was. It was early on in our relationship, but most of that was a blur of falling clothes 

Ah well, you'll just have to randomise it then on a yearly basis: roll a d360 and count it out.  Why only 360?  Well, you wouldn't want to double-dip (delete two from) Valentine's Day; Easter Sunday; Christmas Day; Boxing Day; New Year's Eve or either of your birthdays 

You could do it once and stick with the result OR randomise it every year

Rule 1: roll 1d360 - argue about which face is actually showing - roll 1d6 to settle argument - suddenly recall there may be a roll modifier somewhere - roll 1d6 to see if the modifier actually applies - etc
Rule 1.1 If Leap Year then 1d360 roll is +1 unless a participant's birthday IS February 29 AND it has been chosen as an exempt date in which Ignore the modifier.

Good Idea, although valentines day is her birthday.  Perhaps I should suggest valentines day, then I have only one date to remember, I can roll Birthday, Valentines day and anniversary all into one.   

Perhaps not I would still be expected to get cards for each occasion.    And what if I did forget ........ Can you imagine

Good Idea, although valentines day is her birthday.  Perhaps I should suggest valentines day, then I have only one date to remember, I can roll Birthday, Valentines day and anniversary all into one.
