I have played it's War of Austrian Succession version "Maria". I consider it a great game system. Frenderich is a bit older than Maria, and a 4 player game, rather than 3 player game, but still the basic machinery is the same. It is a great theater level game. I recommend it.

Actually its been siting in my office for over a year, your 6mm figures sparked the interest in reading, finishing Showalter (not impressed, too few maps, poor writing style), starting Szabo. Rebased all of the infantry, will need to pick your brain later re grenadiers. Hope Italy continues to delight (the women have the sexiest moustaches).
