Holiday reading

I'm due to go on the family holiday late July and after some advice from esteemed forumites.....

I often take away easy reads. Last year it was Commando Comic Collections, but this year I thought I might take some more educational reading.

The AWI and French Indian Wars have really captured my imagination since the release of SP2 and although I have a few uniform reference books I dont have any reading material relevant to the period.

Can anyone suggest recommended reads about the two wars? Preferably free or cheap kindle editions if at all possible ;)
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.
