Much obliged, I purchased and downloaded CWC rules on a laptop some years ago, then forgot about them as BKC was the usual diet.  And now when I am looking at a potential post war bush war with kit like the  AML, I can't find the download.  :-\  Too many birthdays .  Hard copy is hard to beat...

Thank you very much for taking the trouble.   It is interesting that the Irish Army rearmed their AMLs with cannon.  It bears out your point that the 60mm mortar was a French requirement for North Africa and not the normal reccie needs of a modern army.

I suspect the Irish wanted something that could at least pretend to be a tank killer :D

Given most of their deployments as peacekeepers I'd also suspect the 60mm mortar would have been way more useful!
