So I am being good and trying reduce my wargaming pile  by quite a bit.

I have sold , or am trying to sell stuff I no longer want or use on e-bay.

To also reduce the pile some of the funds I have released by selling stuff is being "recycled" to  buy stuff ready done that I have in my cupboard waiting to see the table. This then releases the unpainted unassembled stuff to be E-bayed.
e.g I purchased a 25Pdr battery for my 20mm stuff this means the 25pdr Airfix kit I have goes to e-bay

So far, So good.

We have being playing AK47  a bit more at club recently.   So having been inspired and  in the spirit of reducing the pile I see the Dictatorship army I purchased some 15 years ago and think " I will get that finished.

So I started to paint them up. They paint up quite fast as generic troops and only need a block colour and a wash. All is going well (apart from one finished figure going AWOL - He is still AWOL) UNTIL  I start looking to base the figures I have just completed.

I then remember this was the START of a Dictatorship Army.

Consequently I now have an order coming from Peter Pig for 100 infantry and 3 vehicles.  I have also decided I want Soviet kit for this army so will need to sell some of the vehicles I have and purchase different ones.

WHOOPS !!!!  ;D ;D ;D

What is good?

Does it lay in the golden mean (say a constant 1500 un-painted 10mm figures)
Or perhaps in Spartan self-denial (buy all you want but paint all you buy)
Or (and this is my concept of good) in complete excess and abandon which assures happiness for figure designers, makers, and purveyors?

What is good?

Good means getting id of stuff that I will realistically never paint/assemble or stuff that I doubt I will ever use.

If your Mrs Orcs please stop reading now.  ;)

I can then expand the stuff I will use and buy more shiny stuff that I like the look of.   :) :)
