Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

Subedai

That unfinished commanders base lets the rest down.  :D :D

I would love to be able to paint that number of 25mm figures in a month but I'd need to sleep sometime so a quarter of that lot is more likely. Lovely stuff.

Terrific looking army, I have just embarked on some 28mm Peninsula figures for Sharp Practice (big battles in 6mm). I would be interested to know which manufacturer(s) you have used.

Thanks all,

appreciate the kind remarks.  Oh and the last commander is finished :P

@Leman,

The figures are mainly Foundry for the battalions, cavalry, metal guns and Limber.  Perry for the commanders and a few odd of the battalion command for a change of look. The Portuguese are Victrix metals for the line and Cacadores.

If you need any let me know I have tonnes left!!!!

Cheers,

Scott :-[

Really nice looking army ;)

I'm also embarking on a handful of 28's for Sharp Practice - British too.

I normally undercoat in black but am worried that that painting red over black always ends up looking somehow wrong. Did you undercoat in white, grey etc?
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

That is some achievement in a month, they look great.  I am usually happy to complete a unit of 10 or 15mm in a month. Did you eat, sleep or go to work at all in January?  :)

Would undercoating in black then doing a white dry brush help? Not tried it myself but have seen that approach mentioned a few times :-\
