Great battle report. I've yet to try Lion Rampant, but sound like my sort of rules - quick, easy & fun.

One of the joys of this hobby is finding new periods to game that you knew nothing about :). As for the Baltic Crusades, there is very little written evidence that is contemporary with the actions. So for the battle of Neva (where Alexander gained the 'Nevskii' bit) there is nothing mentioned in Swedish accounts and in Novgorod only quite a bit later. So you have quite a bit of leeway to create historically plausible background fluff etc, which is what I hope I've been able to do here.

Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"
