I liked Saga a lot.

I suppose my equivalents are Maurice/ Blucher and Impetus - dull as butter knives.
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Agree on Blucher, and the problem with Maurice was the in ability to win without taking the objective. I played it many times with different opponents and the attacker never won. Impetus, on the other hand, is a great game so long as you resist the temptation to add in all the extra rules from the various supplements. I tried playing that version, but it was so dense it became unmanageable.

I like Bolt Action for all its faults. :D

Star Wars Armada it had such much promise for playing with the big ships but for me the force wasn't strong with this one :-B

Maths. Maths is fun. Utter bollocks unless you're one of those geek brain types.

I can honestly say that maths beyond basic algebra, trigonometry and numbers is a complete waste of time unless you are going on to higher level. I can do 'basic' in all of them but speaking from experience I suffered theorem after boring theorem in trig and, even after 44 years after leaving school, I have yet to find a single use for a quadratic equation or an algebraic graph!

Maths is a shortening of mathematics or arethmetic...
And having been a maths teacher, yup, it's dull!

In the UK we find it very odd that you shorten the plural mathematics to the singular math.

It's a number theory thing.
