There we go, everything is in.

First time i don't have a 20th century foot entry though!

Not hoping to win anything, just glad to take part!

petercooman

Love that conqueror!!!

Almost dwarfs the base though  ;D

TSV90DangerRoss - like the bases of your native Americans.

What's the secret?

Looks great for irregular troops.

My entries are in, so 6 categories have had their numbers boosted a little

Congratulations FSN on doubling your entries from last year, even a 'conversion' this time ;) :) :D

Good luck to all :-bd

My own way of removing the stress factor is to paint 2mm. Doesn't do much for the competition but it keeps me sane.

I'm sorry - I see no correlation between 2mm and sanity.

Thanks. Can't get the green right in the photo.

If you are using daylight balanced painting lights, try setting the white balance to (you guessed it) daylight. I generally have to do that to get the colours right. A prodominantly green subject (something tanky for instance) will throw off auto white balance.

My photos were taken with a smartphone using the lights I paint with. I was experimenting with a cheap light box but they didn't come out quite how I expected, and I was too lazy to break out the dslr and all the gadgets it needs.

Unfortunately, I see a horse drawn wagon in the vehicle section so you might be outgunned in the competition :)

Really like the horse drawn supply wagon. Also thoroughly enjoying the 2mm - no stress because splotches of paint. I am happy to leave the competition to the Leonardo's among you.

Yeah. I paint like Leonardo di Caprio!

But I look like Leonardo the Mutant Turtle.

And fight like Leonardo da Vinci.  :(

Did that. Still doesn't look like my actual vehicle. Perhaps it's the colour balance of my VDU.

I think that should really be in the mounted section.  O:-)

cheers lad, each group of 3 is mounted on a 20mm round base, and then this is placed in one of the 'zombie' sabots from warbases.

then I use the 'baccus basing system' that I originally had for my 6mm stuff, and broke it up with a few tufts.

hope that helps

I'll take that as a compliment  ;)
