So : What if they didn't spend the whole movie telling us who Kylo Ren is and just brought us to the bridge scene without any info.
It would have been wonderful : "Wait, how does he knows hi name ? Wait, WTF ?"

Now THAT would have been awesome.

Seems like a bit of over analysis here! Only two questions need answering:

Was it like the first three picture made? Answer: Yes!

Was it like  the second three pictures made? Answer:  No!

No because the protagonists would have know, but not Rey and Finn and us.

One of the major sin for me is the fact that they made the all new "cantina" with practival effects and the main character, Orange Yoda, with CGI : it is like the only CGI character in the middel of all the "real" stuff, it is ugly.

The more i think about this film, the more angry I become.

Calm down - it is impossible to please all the people......etc. At least we were spared  Jaja Binks (Binx ?). Can't even remember the name - but who cares, it's just a bit of fun and keeps Disney flush.

Pretty much every folklore with magic on the planet. Dark magic is more powerful but more dangerous, is a common theme. .

I don't think there's anything really original nowadays.....All the 'ideas' are variations of various themes from the past.
