2) What armies were confronted? My noble Enchanter and his gang against Roy's y Illusionist and his squad.

This was mine and Roy's second game of Frostgrave and really good fun. I managed to bag most of the treasure by using a Telekinesis spell to move most of it my way; this spell seems to dominate the game but then my Wizard does wear an anorak!

I don't think Telekinesis played as big a part in this game, as it did in the first, to be honest. A couple of the nearer treasures were brought closer to be claimed, but they probably would have been anyway. Apart from one, the furtherest treasure from Bodvoc's warband was more hotly contested and I only came off second best due to my soldiers and apprentice falling wounded to shooting or combat.

The only thing that I'd possibly like to try, as a House Rule, would be the following (as earning 50 Experience for each treasure secured is unbalancing the rival warbands too quickly, I feel).

Possible House Rules For Frostgrave
In an effort to try and keep rival warbands balanced, in regard to experience gains and rapid advancement of "Levels".

1) No experience gained for each treasure recovered.

2) alter the experience table to include:

+10 Exp. | For each enemy soldier that one of your soldiers takes out of the game.
+20 Exp. | For each enemy apprentice that one of your soldiers takes out of the game.
+35 Exp. | For each enemy wizard that one of your soldiers takes out of the game.

+20 Exp. | For each enemy soldier that your apprentice takes out of the game.
+40 Exp. | For each enemy apprentice that your apprentice takes out of the game.
+75 Exp. | For each enemy wizard that your apprentice takes out of the game.

This 'warband' experience is in addition to the normal experience gains awarded from a game (excepting that stated above in House Rules 1).
All experience benefits achieved are still only awarded to the Wizard, however.

Using my alterations, after our two games, both warbands would still be on a par with each other and we would both, I feel, be more satisfied recording the successes that our soldiers had achieved. [Bodvoc's crossbowman notching-up at least 3 'kills' and my knight took out Bodvoc's wizard in the first game.]

Pete wanted to run his Aztecs out before Rollcall. I picked the cheesyist possible list to use against him so he could try to figure out how to beat it.
It didn't go well for the Aztecs.

White Man's Burden again, Boers and Brits, trying out a new scenario system intended to make it a bit more interesting. As it worked out, the Boer artillery couldn't roll a bad die all the battle, so the scenario wasn't much of a test. London is probably speaking Afrikaans by now if the victory points system is accurate.

Kral Kral K'aan the giant looked down on the wolfen horde with contempt. With a mighty bellow he sent his goblin warriors into battle. Shortly later he looked at his fleeing goblin warriors with contempt, then fled as well!

The Rebels killed 40-odd points of my fighters, I killed about 85 of their points, including a Corrillian Corvette and Luke Also manage to do the equivalent f a hand break turn with a Star Destroyer!!!
