Purely a personal perspective as last year but here are my highlights and lowlights from 2015

Rules of the Year
Has to be Warband - followed very closely by Blucher and in third place Lion Rampant.

Warband has been a real change for me and I have really enjoyed running my solo campaign and narrative. Big thank you to those that have chipped in with ideas and even battles for this! Blucher remains a firm favourite and again I have had the pleasure of forum members and friends playing campaigns by email which has added to the experience.

Wargames Range of the Year
Warband Fantasy Range. I set myself a modest budget of £150 and have spent just over that amount amassing 6 armies in a very short period of time. Pianting them has been a welcome distraction from WW2 monotone and lots of white and blue napoleonics!

Mini of the Year
My Father Christmas Biggles in 28mm. A fiun distraction and also a pleasant surprise finding him inside my Dark Age Irish box. He arrived 'just in the nick of time' for the festive season and drew some praise from family members who found him hiding amongst the christmas table decorations!

Army of the Year
Painting wise the Warband Taurians. Playing wise the Warband Orcs and Goblins who have swept all before them!

Retailer of the Year (other than Pendraken/Minibits which goes without saying!)
I haven't bought much from anyone other than Pendraken/Minibits this year so retailer of the year goes to Northstar again who continue to be quick and efficient

Let down of the year
My Warband Undead - lovely miniatures but terrible playing record - only 1 win in 8!!

Most looked forward to of next year
The second Blucher card expansion set covering the Russians, Austrians and other European Forces. Warband Lizardmen in 2nd place for something fun to paint.

Looks like Warband pretty much swept the opposition away!!
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Sorry...Probably my fault. :(

I don't remember cutting myself, and leaving a blood sacrifice (mine) on those particular chaps.
It's almost traditional that I do this with at least one figure, in each batch that I make.

Working on this basis.....The Mongols should be really 'hard'......Some of those got covered.  X_X

Cheers - Phil

Well you must have bled a pint over the Irish Gallowglass ELM19. They have been total bad-asses in every game in which they are deployed! :D
Encumbered by Idjits, we pressed on

I think one of my colleagues must have cut himself doing those, Guy.  ;)

I hope so, I like my cavalry armies - just need to paint them. Can't decide whether to start on the Mongols or the 1941 Russian army as my next painting project

Good to hear you've enjoyed Warband so much, we'd better get those remaining armies sorted and released!
