Personally I thought Episode II was almost as good as IV and V. Ignoring the Ewoks silliness, Episode VI wasn't bad. Episode I was a kids' film and Episode III made absolutely no sense. A total moron could have sussed out that Palpatine was up to no good.

I saw a documentary on t'internet the other day where Lucas was quoted saying something along the lines of, "I made the films for kids its not my fault adults enjoy them."

Speaking as a bona fide Big Kid, I'm looking forward to seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens on the big screen, alongside others of like mind and varying ages :)

"These are not the films you are looking for ~ move along"

Watched episode IV with my kids the other night....thought it eas
quite dated compared to episodes I ~ III.

I was tempted to go and see it but the prices are well over £10 a ticket now and I'm far too tight for that!

:D

I Know.  I will probbably be conned asked by my two younger daughters (17 and 22) to go  . So it will be three tickets to the cinema and either Sweets from Tesco/ Wilkinsons (I refuse to pay cinema prices) and/or food afterwards.

This is the cost of s divorced Dad to get "quality time" with his kids  ;D

I thought SW refered to South Wales, and I thought  that sounds fair enough.    ;D ;D

I am going to see it this weekend, booked a family ticket for four for £24, not too bad although we will nip into Tesco's first for our popcorn or whatever. I think I am the most excited to be going, my daughters (13 + 14) are reasonably interested and the wife is keen to see Harrison Ford again!

Again? Thought you would have nipped that in the bud.

But it is only an on screen romance. Plus the force is stronger in me than Harrison Ford.
