There's no river, but Alexander's army is drawing up facing Poros as I type. I shall record moves as they happen during the opposition's movement. Indians have a small group of Sakae mercenary LC on a hopeful off-table flank-march (I don't know why I keep trying), and there's a rather obvious group of Greek auxilliary LC hidden in the woods (wait for the photographs, which I'll post later). Looks as if Alexander's trying a loaded heavy cavalry right wing facing my chariots (fortunately there's been no rain recently).

Got that wrong. Just a small LC force. The Hetairoi are on the left, Thessalians in the centre. I know that the latter were no longer a formation, but you'll have to be patient with me.

Bad control; most of the Indian foot and horse have failed to move, as have the jumboes.

Prodromoi (also seconded to other units by now in reality) going head-to-head with Indian chariots....and they've routed them. :( My Sakae have arrived, though on the wrong flank.

Another failed command roll; the Hetairoi, who should have been taken in rear by Indian horse, have smacked into the Sakae; Thessalians, led by Alexander, are holding their own against the other chariots. I could use some support here, elephants!

I think 1 must be a holy number for early Hindus, I'm rolling so many of that die face. :(

In short: both armies' morale cracked up after dire losses; draw.
Pix will follow.

That ill-fated Newlines chariot attack on the converted Pendraken prodromoi. Also a rather uninspiring picture of Newlines hetairoi (they survived an outflanking attack by Indian cavalry just after this shot; mind you, ancient Indian cavalry can't kill a mosquito).

A similarly unsuccessful collision between Indians and Pendraken Thessalians, led by Alexander. The second picture shows an aspara's-eye view of the Macedonian attempt to take the town of Kittipore, fortunately unsuccessful in turn. Those big swords help if you can survive the first wallop by the phalanx.

The capture of my sub-general. Oh, the shame. And a half-hearted attempt by Sakae allies to see off some peltasts (as usual, a failure). Note Diogenes in a barrel in the Hellenic camp.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
