Thank you very much for this.  Some of these shield transfers may well be laterally adapted as aircraft roundels in a post war game that I am currently planning.

I am equally inspired and am putting a 28mm Viking Army together to face the Saxons who until now have only faced 1066 Normans. But will have to redo command stands to switch Dragon Banners for less uniform standards. Luckinly Little Big Man has s wealth of options for every period of Saxon Banner.
