Hello all,

I have tried multiple times to register at the specialist games forum, or even look at content for that matter, but every time I try it says I am a guest and I am banned from using the forum. Sadly it gives me that message when I try to register also. Anyone know anything about this or how I can get around it or how to register?

Thanks for your help!

Hello

I'm in ok. Doesn't seem to be a problem. Are you using an IP proxy like Anonymox? Sometime they have been used to spam a website/forum and the proxy IP is banned. It happens here at this site sometimes as well.

No other thoughts I'm afraid. Is there a contact for any forum moderators?

Cheers

I'm not sure the reason, but I've popped a message through to one of the Mod's there to see if he can help you out.

Thanks grumpyoldman. I just figured out its chrome's fault.  Safari shows it just fine.  Also thank you Leon!  I really appreciate it!

I'm not a Chrome fan either, I've been a Firefox guy for many years now without any hassles at all.

Firefox for me. The kids like Chrome for some reason or other. Never had any problems with Firefox, which we use at work as at time Chrome causes problems.

I loved IT, IT kept me employed for 42 years. In fact when I started it wasn't called IT, it was called 'data processing'.

I do like the simplicity of Chrome's layout, but there are just too many problems.  It has problems with different email services as well.  This may be the last straw.
