Any very thin clear glue

I usually spray figures, as this has the added advantage of fixing the flock.  However my can of sealant is playing silly buggers - I rescued 18 28mm men from a cloudy finish mostly because the archers are in mostly white livery, and the men at arms was an easy repaint (metal, metal, metal...) Just had to go over the bows and arrows,

The other thing with spray is you can't do it indoors.

So I'm probably going to buy some brush on matte as a trial.

However I don't want to waste this on fixing the grass.  Cheap pound shop superglue is good but the local one has stopped doing the nozzel kind - they only do the metal 'toothpaste' tube stuff, and spreading it on would be difficult anyway.

Now the flock and static grass is thirsty stuff, which is good, because it soaks the glue  through like a tissue by capillary action.

Can anyone suggest something thin that will soak up, dry clear and is cheap and easy to apply?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I use slightly thinned PVA. don't put it on too thick, the figure in a box of flock  leavve a few minutes ant take out.  If you can see whiet them just put shome more flock on the white bit

I do that to do the stuff.  What I want is to fix it after- if you touch one of my bases you'll find it feels like sandpaper due to the varnish.

I have never needed to fix it any more than that

Cloudy varnish can be fixed by giving it a second coat - haven't had this fail yet. I use spray varnish all the time.

May sound odd, but as well as using Windsor and Newton Galeria matte varnish for varnishing, I also use it for glueing down flock and static grass. Works very well and no shine afterwards.

I use acrylic matt medium to fix flock not particularly cheap but goes a long way

Paint a layer of watered down scenic cement over it?
