Hmmm. As a 20 year old an older woman of say 40 can be alluring. At 50, a woman of 70 ...?

If Sophia Loren or Vanessa Redgrave asked me out tomorrow....

Thanks, Gents.

Got the good lady home late last night, in the end.....After what was basically a very comprehensive 'full body' M.O.T.
It appears that the pill she takes to 'top up' her thyroid needs halving.....And that's why her heart was playing silly b's and throwing in extra beats all over the place.

The 'thyroid pills' were what we both hoped were causing the problem......But it was a tad worrying.

Cheers - Phil

Glad to hear it was just the medication.

Hi,
Looking to go into ww1 in East Africa, so keen to find out what others are doing in this conflict - rules, scenery, orbats etc. Knowing which figures to use for which troops would be very handy.
First real foray imto the 20th century - more of a pointy stick man really. Most figs are currently 15mm - biblical iis the biggest, but have reasonable collections in a number of other periods. Fair number of 28mm - TYW, Darkest Africa, odds and sods of other things. Dabbled in most things over the 40 years or so I've been splodging paint on figures.

Keen on modelling, more so than gaming to be honest, so interested in trying to turn out something in a new scale. Any gaming generally with the SAS club in Horsham. Not that SAS - although if you could win battles by eating pies we would be a force to be feared! Speedy painting tips would be handy, as I'm getting on a bit!

Just to get the thread slightly back on track - if only for a nanosecond - welcome from the western edge of Surrey (Camberley)  :-h

Cheers!

Hope the Mrs gets better. Sometimes it's as tough for the other half. I've had medical probs the last few years and although she's hidden it well, it's been tough on my wife.
I obviously don't learn. Keep thinking I should cut back on the collections, but I've started yet another with the 10mm. Going to sell some bits off at Selwg on Sunday, but if there's any suitable 10mm stuff there, I'll end up spending the takings -assuming there are any.
Anyone exhibiting or trading up there this weekend?
