I'm looking for a 6x4' pre-made game mat.  Does anyone have any recommendations for companies/products?  What have you purchased, from which company, and how good was it?

I have two S&A Scenic's 6'x4' felt mats in Grass Green and Desert Sand which I'm very happy with.

I've seen several, and played on a couple, of the Cigar Box mats - beautiful but pricey. Definitely on my "If I win the lottery I'll get ..." list. :)

Finally, Hotzmats look really good - only played on one though - I particularly like the idea of the double sided mats. The customised mat option is attractive too. I guess I need to add a custom "Banks of the Nile/ Tigris / Euphrates" to my "if I win ..." list!

I'm very tempted by the Kallistra hex boards:

I like the idea of having a fairly rigid surface that can be packed away into a modest-sized box and the option to customise layouts by inserting odd hexes or boards.

No cheap, though, with a basic flocked starter set at £75  :(
