How do people base their figures for those rules?  Does it look good in 10mm?  I'd love to see pictures of games.

20mm by 10mm with a single 1/600th block on ;)

More helpfully, iirc my mate based his Crimea forces in 10mm on 30mm by 30mm bases, two ranks of three for foot and a single rank of three cavalry. I'll email him and check :)

I use 30mm x 20mm with four infantry figures on a base. I do this so that I can use a variety of rules. I last played these rules when they were still called Feuer und Furia Francese.

And to complicate  matters, I base all my infantry four figures, on 25mm wide by 20mm deep bases, and I still thank they are usable for all fire and fury variants, as well as the Realtime Wargames rules TTLGB and TLAF, and BBB. My cavalry and artillery are on 30mm square bases, 3 cavalry or one gun to a base.

Just got a reply, he used small size FoW bases, I think as they were rectangular-ish so two ranks looked a bit better - they're 1 1/4" by 1" sized :) Six infantry in two ranks, three cavalry, single arty piece. Arty may have had base sizes fudged to fit if needed (eg be deeper).

We use a real variety of bases for the various wars covered, mainly because of new arrivals to the group.  We have some 20mm bases (with either 20 or 30mm depth), 40mm by 25mm (?), 50mm square and 60mm by 30mm (with 'change' bases - 60mm = 3 bases). We use 20mm as the standard base and markers for the larger bases without 'change'. The number of figures varies but about 4 (or 5 infantry with 1 being a skirmisher) or 2 cavalry is about average.

Being at the start of a big rebasing project, and having had another look at Javier's photos, I am now inclined to go for the 25mm x 20mm bases for infantry myself.

I base infantry 3 or 4 to a 20x20mm base. I am cheap and its the easiest to adapt to any rule system. I think 6 on a 25x25mm base looks best for 10mm for close order infantry.

Cavalry is 2 to a 25x25mm base. Artillery is 1 gun to a 25x25mm base.

That is a nice looking army - I think I may steal your basing plan.
