And given Rome wasn't built in a day; I assume this will keep on growing in its magnificence?

Thanks Lads

I dare say it'll keep growing,well after I watch the videos Mad Lemmy linked.

Wish I'd saw them first.More work needed on the Middle eastern town and the Celtic village before I
stick the photos up.

I saw them clean the model once, it involves a lot of harnessing and rigging!

That rocks!, are they 2mm ?

kodiakblair

@jchaos79

Those are 2mm indeed,well really a wee bit smaller being 1:1000.

@mad lemmey

The model you saw being cleaned was it in Rome? I was visiting the folks today and they have a book from Musseo della Civilta Romana
showing parts of a massive model . Another source I wished I'd seen first ;)

jchaos79

2mm rocks, my brother have two miniarmies, one indian and the other alexandrian, and when we played hydaspes the scale convince me.

Now he is building some 2mm napoleonic.

I am also a great fan of little scales, but my really love is for 10mm

Well, havng little time for the moment, i have relaunched myself into my 2mm nap project, because it's easier to do when you are short on time than other stuff!

really like the scale for mass battles, or for corps size battles on a small area, as i can do those on my kitchen table!
