Day out in Dorset

Shared the iconic parts of London with lots of other tourists today. Went to to Foyles amongst other places...
I could spend a bit in there, but came away well satisfied with a couple of Pen and Sword WW1 paperbacks 

Like the RAF museum the IWM is free to get into. Walk in and the first thing you see is what I'd hoped to see....the surviving Nery
gun and limber. The museum is amazing, though the WW1 trench experience was rather ordinary. On the top floor is Lord Ashcroft's medal
collection.....lots of VCs etc including the 3 won at Nery, but no photos please.

Off to France tomorrow. Driving on the right will take some getting used to
