Am I the only one who finds disgusting to hear all the burps and digestion noises when she talks ?

It is really worst with headphones.

End result is nice, but - Hmmm, that's a lot of basecoating, washing, shading, washing, highlighting for the flesh tones, that I think you could grab 95% of the same effect with either black undercoat > careful block paint or single wash :S

Good vid, but the verbal tick is a bit annoying; mind having heard recordings of myself on the phone I doubt anyone would want to listen to me nattering and I do it for a living :D

Toxic,

I agree with you, its a nice informative video but far too many 'layers'.  I am more than happy with my block painting and a nice coat of Army Painter Dark Tone, I think the LoA pics speak for them self.  It's quick(ish), easy and  gives a great tabletop look!

EDIT: Quote fixed.

I enjoyed the lesson of 'more contrast', probably something I should have more regard for, though there is a fine balance between natural looking and very high contrast. I agree that I would want less steps, also probably a wash later in the process and something to protect the figure at the end - varnish or some such.
