Hi, I have recently played a SAGA game in 10mm. The Arthurians are from Pendraken's Late Romans while the Northmen are a mixture of Pendraken's Normans, Norse and Anglo Saxons range. All units are based using washers. Shield transfers are from Little Big Men Studios.

You can have a look at the remaining pics here: http://s1303.photobucket.com/user/Gabriele_Giovanni_Vecchio/library/?sort=3&page=1

A proper general for the Arthurians is on its way. Coming soon...  8)

Thank you for the kind welcoming wishes! The Northmen won by a large measure. A re-match is on its way as soon as I finish painting the Arthurian bases and King Arthur.

If I'll ever play SAGA in 10mm, I think I'd do 4 based men and use dead markers.

I have adopted a similar approach for Dux Britanniarum - three warriors to a penny.

Those look extremely spiffy, Bob ! :-bd

Thanks Phil. I think there are a number of 28mm games out there that could benefit from, and look a bit more beefed up, using a number of 10mm figures to represent one 28mm figure.

They do look really good Bob. :-bd

Isn't it a pain moving all those little bases though?

I have played Songs of Blades and heroes in 10mm , moving the individual bases was fine and doesnt take any longer than doing it in 28mm
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Okey dokey.  Mind you, I find moving 28mms a pain too. :)
