How to Paint Late Romans

Can I make one suggestion ?   Have you though about edging the bases in a mid
brown (for example, Graveyard Earth in GW-speak).   Just a thought.

Yes, in my excitement at having got the bases done I forgot to go back and edge them.
I usually do mine in Orkhide shade, dark green. So I'll go back and do that now!
