Won't surprise you when I say I did a double take on the first photo!   

But then, the thought of an 'alternative timeline' (a plot beloved of Star Trek and other Sci-Fi stories), somehow became slightly chilling (yikes!) ... 

They say the Germans were shocked when the Sherman DD tanks suddenly appeared out of the water on D-Day. Imagine these things doing the same thing!
