Dice frames are new to me but I had 10 bags of them delivered last week and have started putting them on my 6mm GHQ minis.

How do you guys "disguise" them?

Do you base around them?
Do you base into them?
Or do you just paint them?

Cheers in advance :)

A lot of the pictures I've seen, people glue them to the base first and then build up your texture/grass/flock around the frame.  So you end up with a little hidden hole at the back of the base for the dice to sit in.

Ithoriel

Glue them to the base, add painted figures, texture base, paint any exposed bits of dice frame black.

I do much the same as Ithorial - but don't paint the frame, I like the laser cut effect on top of mine, the Warbases ones have a slight "chamfer" which I think looks quite organic and rustic!

Sometimes I paint the bottom, sometimes just PVA and sand, some I did a nice national flag on. You don't see it when the dice is in but it looks pretty in the box!

Wondered about the "chamfer" myself.  I think it must be where the laser strikes,  they are definitely thinner at the top  :-\

Now I think about it I'm not sure where those ones are from... The perils of a dozen plastic baggies with the labels removed scattered across my desk >_<

To make it worse I recently did a bit of tidying up. Now I can't find anything!
