If you had to guesstimate,  how many do you think you've personally cast, ever?

Now there's a question!  I've been casting since 2005 myself, so averaging a few hours of casting time per day, 350 working days per year, 10 years... It's got to be getting on for 5 million of the little chaps I'd think.  It's hard to quantify, as you've got horse, artillery, vehicles, etc, so it's not all foot figures at a fixed price for calculating purposes.

Dave's been casting since 1992 though, so his total is probably a lot higher.  His casting tends to be more vehicles though, so again you'd struggle to work it out anywhere near accurately.

It's no wonder I feel like I've got RSI at times...

Manchou this is all very well but I hope you aren't neglecting the one true period ?

No, don't worry, I am still working on 1859 and then 1866. The maps for Koniggratz and Custozza are ready, As well as all the battles of 1870 (until Sedan) and 1859. It's slower as I only paint this period when I am in France. In China, I only work on the big napoleonic project. Concerning the enormous 1870 campaign, all the maps will be ready this summer. It will be a battlefield of about 7000 square feet and with 16 000 miniatures in it!
