Clarkson Suspended

Haven't watched the show much but when I did it was to watch the antics of Clarkson, May and the Hamster.

If it's only option is to reincarnate as a straight car program they should can it and make something completely different and more interesting. Perhaps something like those Scandinavian programs where they show several hours of a log fire burning or someone's gran knitting a cardy.

Yes, the whole point of the show was the interaction of the three presenters and the increasingly outrageous stunts they participated in. If it becomes a straight car show it will simply be the BBC equivalent of Fifth Gear - and who the hell bothers to watch that?

You mean you want the BBC to broadcast another hour of that each week!   

As far as I have read the BBC are thinking of bringing in Chris Evans to host the show - I didn't watch it before and with him in it I most definitely will not be watching it in the future.

Can't say I'm particularly keen on Mr Evans either.

I almost cried when he took over from that nice Mr Wogan.....I don't think I've even listened to Radio 2 since then.

How about:

Sack the lot of them and replace with Al Murray
Scrap the cars and go with something more mainstream like a bunch of middle aged men pushing small lead men about a 6x4 table 

For me the Huffington Post had the headline that summed it up "man hits colleague at work and gets sacked" - basically what happened.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I wouldn't mind Chris Evans as a replacement.  Aside from him being as equally disliked as Clarkson, he's a massive car nut, with a collection of classics worth a fortune.  He doesn't take himself that seriously and would be up for all the daft stunts they get up to.  There's worse options out there.

Any TV I watch is on the computer and its only Netflix, so I can watch entire series back to back, currently watching Lost Girl, the main character is a real honey, also she's a Sucubus which makes it a bit more interesting.

I didn't mind TFI, it was just a bit of daftness.  He was happy to play football naked with Gazza for Comic Relief as well, something I couldn't see Clarkson doing...  and don't want to see Clarkson doing to be fair!
