All the pics in this thread were taken with a Video cam while i moved a day light bulb around, i just chose the best out of them. The pics taken with my camera have no flash settings available and all looked terrible to be honest. I think i need to buy that bounce flash ive been promising to buy sooner rather than later.

Might be cheaper just to get yourself a mini-tripod and fire the still camera on ten-second delay. It's what I do.

For me, the photography has turned out to be WAY harder then the painting.
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

I am literally just about to start work on a League of Augsburg project
so these pics are an inspiration.   Great to see how other people have
approached this - unit strength, composition, basing, painting, choice
of units etc.   I'm right in the middle of the planning stage so really
appreciate this thread, particularly as the painting is so good.

Fantastic stuff.   Thank you for posting the pics.

By the way, for information on the Irish campaign, and the period in general,
you might be interested in several of the books by John Childs :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/John-Childs/e/B001JOWPAO/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1

'The Williamite Wars in Ireland' should be bang on target for you.   You can
probably find this cheaper than the price quoted by Amazon.   I have also read
'Warfare in the Seventeenth Century' and 'The Nine Years War and the British Army'.
Both very good reads with a ton of information.

I'll be keen to see how this thread develops.

Superb work, Redstef. And a nice big chunky unit (obsessed with size? Moi?)
