Hi. Thank you for the welcome. Yes  CB8 is a great choice again thanks. Think Ill combine a few of each with some afghan tribesmen thrown in.

Can't help you Jems but welcome aboard nonetheless  :)
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

It's curious that the Sudan and the Zulu war get so much of the colonial gaming action, while the far more important stuff in India is virtually ignored. I'm guilty in this regard myself, but then I am an African, so I can pretend I've got an excuse.
Glad someone's doing a bit to redress the imbalance.

You are right Kitty, India does seem to get lost in with all the other colonial wars, it is an interesting period, one I have thought about doing but it sits on the "maybe some day" :)

Welcome, my friend, to the show that never ends.... to misquote Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

It could be for 1 of 2 reasons :-

a) most of the Indain stuff was fought by native troops

b) Fighting in India was almost continuous, whereas in Sudan and Natal it was of comparatively short duration.

Course it could be due to "Zulu" and "Khartoum"

That last bit is most likely the cause. We'd better be glad it's not Lt Alfie defending Rorke's Drift, or Moses parting the Nile to drown the Mahdi!
