OK, Egyptians and Assyrians are about to have another go at thumping each other.

Look forward to hearing more. I recently bought 10mm Spearmen and chariots (1 bag of each) from Magister Militia, juts to see how they paint up etc. I would love to have Hittite / Egyptian (New Kingdom) armies.

FierceKitty

Not Mrs FK today. Assyrians won, partly because we were absurdly lucky in a critical smash-up between the royal chariots on both sides, but also thanks to the greed of the Norwegian leading the Egyptians, who twice disregarded the fact that in attacking our flanks he was exposing his own.
Do have a look at the Newlines range for chariot-era. They're cheaper than Magister Militum, and I think better proportioned.

I really like the Rapier Miniatures chariot era 6mm figures (in the absence of Pendraken equivalents) which cover Egyptians, Hittites, Sea Peoples, Sumerians and Trojan War (Mycenaean) Greeks. Limited poses can be alleviated somewhat by mixing in some Baccus figures. Delivery is not speedy but that's not uncommon in my wargaming experience.

When I read this I thought you must have started early forgetting, of course, you're half a day ahead of us  ;)

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Yep. It's Sunday evening. And if you're employed, don't be in a hurry to catch up. The future's a depressing phenomenon.

Does this mean you can predict our future? :D

Well, he can predict it will be daylight in seven hours' time. Beyond that....

That's actually a brave prediction given the UK's weather. :D

The sun always comes over the horizon, but we cant always see it, particularly in Yorkshire cause it be snowing, in Wales due to incessant rain, and in Runcorn due to the dark eivil smelling cloud due to the presence of FSN......

I resent that! The cloud protects Runcorn from outside interference. It's actually 1957 in Runcorn.

And the cloud doesn't smell evil. It's "lavender dream".

Ever since fsn has joined the forum my one query has always been

Rucorn?

WHY??

Actually I have several other questions  but they would probably need several top boffins to answer them properly
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Ah! Funny story that ...

No it isn't. I moved there for work.
