Hello all,
I've been lurking on here for awhile now and thought it about time I got an account. I'm mainly a 6mm gamer/painter, but lately I've been looking for a change.

I play everything from Ancients to WWII, Scifi and Fantasy. I'm a bit of a rules junkie. I've been playing a lot of Neil Thomas' One Hour Wargames, Sword and Spear and DBA. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on Warband.

10mm for me in almost everything, but 6mm is super for really big horse-and-musket. They're natural allies, I think. Welcome aboard.

How do you find the "One Hour Wargames"? (If you say "on Amazon" then ... you'll fit in wonderfully.) It's on my wish list, but the only ruleset I use that I haven't written are the ones in Donald Featherstone's "War Games".

As Techno (he's an old member) says, this forum (when I say old I mean really OLD) is a place to find good company (I mean his first post was daubed on a cave wall) and genial insanity.

Another welcome from me. I am mainly a 6mm gamer who has started dabbling in 10mm (only 5 armies). As they say they are a mad lot here...of course I don't count myself in that category. (By the way have you seen the Mongol sculpts, beautiful plumage, major).

Sold all of my 6mm armies years ago and started again with 10mm (but still using my 6mm buildings for my 10mm Horse & Musket games). No regrets going into 10mm.*


*actually sometimes I miss my 6mm armies (basically because I haven't 'replaced' them yet). I sometimes wonder about them .. yet, not once have they been in touch to let me know how they are ..... waaaaaa  :'( ......
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
