I have been a member of the forum for a couple of weeks now, so thought that I should post a quick intro.

Bill here, from the wet county of Cumbria in the north of England.  Archaeologist by profession (great career as long as you don't want to earn a living at it!  :'(  )

I often talk a load of rubbish (at least according to 'She who must be obeyed'), so having read many threads on this forum thought I should fit in quite well!   :D

Anyway, this will help towards the 'post count' to try and get a new record by tomorrow night.

Welcome aboard Fight.

Only "often" talking rubbish might gain you entry... :)
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

I will try and improve, I guess I am a Cadet because as yet I haven't achieved the soaring heights of managing to talk rubbish all the time!

Mind you I have dug quite a few middens in my time and examined the remains of 'night soil' more often than I care to remember!   Now that is talking Rubbish!   ;D

Welcome again!

As an archaeologist, perhaps you can explain Techno? We don't know when Pendraken dug him up, or even where. We think he may have originally been some sort of midden, but now that he's been washed, well, we're still a little bit confused.

Oh, and hold off on talking rubbish. This is a serious forum.

I came to the same conclusion whilst studying Archaeology at uni.

So I became a librarian instead.

Name dropper.... I found a piece of 3rd century  pottery that a rabbit had thrown out in its spoil heap... my good lady wife (the archaeologist) was somewhat miffed that I spotted it :)
I helped open the temple there whilst dressed as a Roman.... almost got hypothermia at that gig :)
=O =O =O

Oh and welcome Bill, you are in the wet of CUmbria, we are in the wind of Shetland :)
