Agreed. At Custozza, Mollinary and I had a heck of a job finding one of the (very few) memorials since there were a lot of trees on the ridge in question. In the end we just headed for the slight rise at one end of the ridge and there it was.

Which, curiously, was not where it seemed to be using Google earth the night before!  Fortunately, Holdfast's military coup d'oeuil conquered where technology failed!

That is a very special looking game - the very small trees really give an impression
of a forest (rather than the usual 'Ent family on a daytrip').   The layered effect
also works well.

Excellnt stuff and a real inspiration.

Also recall that GFR Henderson wrote about Woerth in one of the two book(lets) that he wrote on the FPW, with shedloads of statistics. It is one of the few contemporary works in English, so is very accessible. Its published by Helion.
