need 2 CWC battlegroups

need some help making up 2 small/medium CWC battlegroups for a junior relative who is getting into CWC as Xmas pressie, interest is Russians and West Germans 1990 to present.

any help appreciated as its not my area of expertise.

What Scale?

If 10mm them Minfigs do a selection of tanks.  The WW2  castings are a bit variable with some being crisp and others having lots of flash.

15mm the old Skytrex stuff is better than QRF although the QRF do a good range.  Thier figures are a little basic

20mm I have no idea

If you are going for 1/300th then Heroics and Ros or Scotia both do fairly comprehensive ranges.

Depends on scale
If 6mm Bn of infantry both sides with Tank support.
Arty can be off table no airplane straight away.
Early Soviet
T64 tanks BTR60 9 bases of infantry
Leopard 2 with Marder
6mm vehicles HR infantry can be same but Id go with Mainforce miniatures through magister Militum.
