Maybe Dour Puritan? He's got lots of crackin photos of SYW stuff.

That's the best one I have of the Austrian hussars, but as you can see they are in a charging pose, wear the busby and a slung pelisse. they are also quite straightforward to paint, which came as a surprise when I tackled them about four years ago.

It was Phalanx in St.Helens. The Sports Centre has really weird lighting.

May all work, am thinking of using a mix of SYA14 and P12 & P13  from the Polish range for 1683 period Hussars. Any thoughts?

P13 look very good, but don't know enough about that period to comment either way.
