AVBCW must throw up some very odd requests - I have just ordered a battery of soviet guns (that neat M1927 76.2 ) but with WW1 British crew in helmets,

Is this out of the ordinary, or an every day occurrence now that the British Civil War is raging ?

I have Fritz helmeted chaps manning Vickers MMGs, so probably not :D

Nope. I've mixed and matched stuff to suit and I think that's half of the appeal.

Hello Sunray

Not unusual at all. I've done many strange things. Swapped crews on British 2 pounders and German 37mm AT guns. I've got Boer War dismounted cavalry running around as armed police. FPW French naval gun crew manning a scratchbuilt dismounted naval gun. A Thornycroft  AA truck with colonial crew as a police support vehicle.

Cheers

That's a relief, I was feeling guilty about asking Leon to mix and match guns with crews.

That is probably one of the simpler requests that I make of Leon ;) and for historical forces :)

In my last order 22 of the 43 codes I ordered were part packs or odd combinations  :-[ ;)

What is AWBCW? Acronyms always confuse me.

A Wery Bwitish Civil Waugh ... first name Evelyn, I believe :)

Indeed not, An Officer and a Gentleman among the Men-At-Arms, who would never stoop to Unconditional Surrender of his Sword of Honour :)

You're listing all the Waugh novels I can't stand (except Brideshead Revisited). Where are the witty ones that avoid pontificating?
