Hello, I have been reading the posts on here for some time, thought I would join in. I am not a wargamer but like to paint historical figures.
Here are some LOA I've just based.

Thanks for the kind words and welcome, nice to get some feedback other than the wife and the dog. Any tips on improving the photos and the painting would be handy, only took me 2 hours to work out how to reduce the file size so I could post the photo but it seems to lost some detail. Will be looking for some help on uniforms and hope to do some WSS and SYW stuff at some point.

Firstly, Hi Al, welcome to the forum.

Very nicely painted stuff, far better than I can manage!

On the photo's and losing detail. Post the photo's to an image sharing site of your choice and link to that and you can have much larger file sizes.

Welcome to the Forum, and excellent painting! As others have said, the best option for photo's is to host them somewhere else, such as Photobucket/Flickr or even Facebook, and then link them from there.  Give me a shout if you want any tips on doing that.

Thanks Leon and everyone else, I have set up a photobucket account it will probably take me sometime to work out how to link that to the forum. The only cutting and pasting I've done is wall papering the back bedroom :(.

Photobucket is one of the easier ones, so once you've got your images uploaded, you just need the piece of code in one of the boxes underneath or to the right of the image.  It's the one with the image tags, [ img]http://etc, etc.  You should be able to click on this to copy it, and then it can be pasted into your Forum message.  If there's any queries on it, let me know, and I can always edit your post if it goes squiffy.
