The man in the fluffy hat conquered a fair wedge of the Asian continent, the chocolate bar has conquered many a need for a sweetie fix and the Centurion has conquered...no sorry, nothing immediately springs to mind. :D

But surely the Centurions conquered most of Europe (leaving out only Scotland, unfortunately they had the bad taste to invade Wales), Egypt, western Arabia, and lots of Asia Minor....

NCO's are the backbone of any army. I'd Agree Aztecs were a short lived chocolate bar, which I should no longer eat.

Must admit the Roman Empire crossed my mind when I read Sub's post.

Alas.

From my trusty historical sources, I hear that there were no chocolate eating, tank riding mongols during the fight for American Independence.  :D

Subedai

Ah-ha! I see you fell for my deliberate ploy. If I had said centurions then yes I would agree about the Roman Empire but I said centurion singular meaning the piece of metal on tracks with a gun on the top.  :D

If they could have them I bet they would have done!

But there were at least 5000 of them so referring to either type should be plural....

By the same token, neither the fluffy hatted horse botherer, not the melty confection managed to sling a 20lb shell at over 1000 m/sec.

They could if they wanted to but bows and arrows did the job well enough so they didn't bother.  :)
