Hello

I am after some help with Painting my early 8th army tanks I have read that you use humbrol enamel no 121 Light stone
as a base colour upon which to add the other colours. But this looks rather to pale
from the few decent colour photos i have the German sand color is far more golden?
I have no colour photos of 8th army tanks

any help or pics from those of you who have solved this would be apreciated

If you're after some reference material, have a look here: http://www.armouredacorn.com/ncvm.html

And some images: http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-US:{referrer:source%3F}&rlz=1I7HPEB_en-GB&q=caunter+camouflage&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=2DFVTJ6rK5P60wT-msC4Cw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CDMQsAQwAw&biw=1280&bih=683

My 8th Army stuff is here:

...although I don't seem to have pics of all of my camo'd armour - I'll have to rectify that. I'll try & dig out my painting notes too [although I don't use enamels...]
