Hope this is the right place to put this:

10000 6mm figures put together by Rob Dunlop for Battle of the Marne game using GWSH2 rules......Article from UK Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/the-filter/11008748/New-Zealanders-quest-for-the-Miracle-of-the-Marne-in-Northern-France.html

The larger figures are to show off uniforms etc in more detail.

Good for him. The figures look very well painted. Especially if they're 6mm.  :-bd
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

He is one of the guys who helped write the new GWSH and is helping to run the giant Marne game in France sometime soon
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I think the article states that the well painted figures are bigger ones to show the uniforms more clearly (although what the helmeted figure on horseback is doing at the Marne in 1914 is beyond me).
The artist formerly known as Dour Puritan!
