Made it!

Just ticked over to Lt General this morning. It's seemed a long, hard slog. As for the cricket batsman in the high nineties the last few have been worrisome.

Looking at the stats, I see that currently I have spent 37 days, 7 hours and 58 minutes since the 1st Feb 2011 (has it really been three years?) sitting in front of this screen. That's over a month of solid staring - day and night. No wonder I feel tired! There have been a couple of strops along the way, a few minor embarrassments and a lot of chuckling that has had my other half looking up in surprise.

Ah, well, here's to the next 5000!
